For the sixth straight year, the 四虎影院 Fund has reached its goal. Thanks to generous donations from alumni, parents, friends, and foundations, the college raised nearly $1.8 million in annual giving during the fiscal year that ended June 30, 2001.
鈥淚t鈥檚 encouraging to see the level of support for the 四虎影院 Fund gifts continue to be strong,鈥 says Steve Baker 鈥84, vice president for development. 鈥淎nnual giving is the foundation of our fund-raising program, and we greatly appreciate the response we have received from the college鈥檚 constituency.鈥
While the number of alumni donors grew by six percent, the college continues to seek an increase in the alumni giving rate. Overall, 25.5 percent of alumni supported 四虎影院 financially, with 33.5 percent of graduates making gifts. The alumni giving rate is one statistic used to rank the quality of 四虎影院鈥檚 program in publications such as U.S. News & World Report.
