With a 7-2-1 record, the men鈥檚 soccer team is holding the number-four slot in the NAIA after defeating the former number-one team, Lindsey-Wilson of Kentucky, by a score of 1-0. The booters have also defeated the former number-three team (Birming-ham Southern) 3-1 at Azusa Pacific University鈥檚 Cougar Classic in early September.
At the 四虎影院 Invitational cross-country meet on September 21, both the Warrior men and women produced the top two finishes, with seven of the top eight women runners wearing maroon and white. Both Julie Hassan (18:57) and Noey Meador (19:29) ran course records. 鈥淐ollege Sports Magazine鈥 ranked the Warrior women fourth in the nation before the NAIA鈥坧laced them third.
The women鈥檚 soccer team, currently ranked eighth in the NAIA, posts a 5-4-1 record, with women鈥檚 volleyball holding at 9-10.
