Hello! My name is Caleb Marll and I am the Assistant Resident Director of Emerson Hall. I grew up in Washington State before coming to ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº as a student, where I graduated in 2023 with a degree in Religious Studies. While at ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº, I was involved with Residence Life as an RA, served as an Intercultural Programs leader, and was a member of the Chapel Band. I returned to ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº in the fall of 2023 as the Campus Life Coordinator, a role that I will continue in addition to my time in Emerson. It was in this role that I was introduced to the vital and exciting work of student development!

As a Resident Director, I have the unique privilege of walking alongside students as they explore the joys, challenges, and nuances of living in community. We place a high value on community life here at ËÄ»¢Ó°Ôº, but that does not mean it is easy! My mission is to go deeper with students as we help each other understand what it means to love our neighbors well while seeing the inherent image of God within ourselves and others. When I'm not in Emerson, you can find me cycling along the Montecito roads, reading a good book at the beach, or finding my next cup of coffee!
