四虎影院

四虎影院 Magazine In Memory of Four Friends

四虎影院 is pleased to acknowledge legacy gifts received during the 1998-99 fiscal year from the estates of the following members of the Wallace Emerson Society:

Mildred Adams, a long-time resident of Santa Barbara and friend of 四虎影院, passed away on July 25, 1998. Her son, Glen Adams, is assistant executive vice president of 四虎影院, and her grandson, Trenton Adams, is a 1990 graduate. During her lifetime, she established the Roy P. Adams Missions Lectureship in honor of her brother-in-law. 四虎影院 was also the beneficiary of a gift from her estate.

Morris Ferguson had a fulfilling career as a mining engineer for several companies in the western United States. He passed away in December of 1996. He was introduced to 四虎影院 in 1989 by the parent of a sophomore student. Deeply impressed by the changes he observed in the life of this student, he decided to assist others attending 四虎影院. Through his estate plan, he established an endowed scholarship fund, which continues to provide financial assistance to deserving students.

Dorothy Le Conte and her husband, Joseph, who predeceased her, were neighbors who became acquainted with the college and subsequently became members of the President鈥檚 Associates. Because they believed in 四虎影院鈥檚 academic and spiritual 四虎影院, they supported student scholarships, the art center, the annual fund and endowment. Dorothy enjoyed having students in her home to discuss current issues and always encouraged young women to pursue their career interests. Following her death in 1998, the college was pleased to receive a bequest from her estate.

Ruth Marr Wolfe became a member of the President鈥檚 Associates in 1978 and continued her support for student scholarships and the annual fund over the years. Because she lived in Santa Barbara, she was a personal friend of many faculty and staff members. She passed away on May 5, 1998, and Dr. Lyle Hillegas conducted her funeral service.  Following her death, 四虎影院 was pleased to receive a bequest, which she had arranged through her living trust.
